Dr. Paul Shambare (Elder Shambare)

Dr. Paul Shambare, affectionately known across Zimbabwe and the tourism capital of Victoria Falls as 'Elder Shambare', stands as one of the country's most versatile, respected, and dynamic entrepreneurs — a prominent logistics mogul, arts and music promoter, hotelier, and philanthropist. As the Founder and Managing Director of Express Cargo and Express Entertainment, Dr. Shambare has built a commercial empire spanning freight logistics, cross-border shipping, entertainment management, tourism, and real estate, while serving as a major patron of Zimbabwean music, youth culture, and community welfare.

Operating from Victoria Falls and Harare, Dr. Paul Shambare established Express Cargo as a trusted, highly efficient freight, clearing, and logistics service connecting Zimbabwe to regional trade corridors in Zambia, Botswana, South Africa, and international markets. His firm's reputation for speed, integrity, and customer satisfaction made Express Cargo an essential logistics partner for businesses, safari operators, and importers in Matabeleland North and nationwide.

Beyond freight logistics, Elder Shambare is celebrated as one of Zimbabwe's premier music promoters and arts patrons through his company Express Entertainment. Driven by a deep passion for local culture, he has funded music tours, album launches, and live concert festivals for major Zimbabwean artists — including Jah Prayzah, Winky D, Killer T, Freeman, and emerging Victoria Falls musical talent — providing artists with lucrative performance platforms and professional management.

His philanthropic contributions to Victoria Falls and Matabeleland North are extensive. Through the Elder Shambare Foundation, he regularly donates educational supplies to rural schools, funds medical assistance for underprivileged families, sponsors youth sports tournaments, and supports community cleanliness and environmental conservation initiatives around the Victoria Falls World Heritage site.

His business leadership and philanthropic works have earned him numerous prestigious awards, including Honorary Doctorate degrees, the Megafest Businessman of the Year Award, and national recognition as an Outstanding Arts Promoter. Known for his humility, academic dedication, and mentorship of young entrepreneurs, Elder Shambare remains an inspiring figure in Zimbabwean business.

Today, Dr. Paul Shambare (Elder Shambare) stands proudly enshrined on the Zimbabwe Digital Wall of Fame as a true ZimLegend — a logistics titan, premier arts promoter, Victoria Falls business icon, and philanthropist whose commercial enterprise and cultural patronage continue to enrich Zimbabwe.
